How often do you see this? We were on our road trip last week in the wide open dry area of Eastern Washington.
And there they were, up on the ridge...out in the wild.
No fences...
My husband thinks they were wild horses.
I don't know...
but they were a cool sight.

Hmmm....I would like to say they are wild horses, but by enlarging the pictures, I am guessing they aren't. Not sure why there isn't a fence though.

Well none the less they are gorgeous!!! Very good pictures of them! And I always love seeing horses on open range just being free!!

Oh how awesome! I love wild horses, I hope they are! Even if they aren't that is great that they can roam like they are.
ReplyDeletePS - Love your header, I love it when barns have paintings on them =)
What a beautiful scene!!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures made me think of the old song by the Dixie Chicks, "Wide open spaces."
ReplyDeleteThey could be wild as there is a lot of them in Idaho near Challis. Great post.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if they are wild, but you got some cool pictures!
ReplyDeleteHappy VGNO, hope you have a great weekend!
Wow, how cool is that? Who knows whether the horses were at one time escapees, or how far they've traveled before coming upon the slopes of Eastern Washington? What tales they could tell ...
ReplyDeleteYes indeed. Wild horses. There are lots of them up there. How lucky for you to get such a great series of pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. They are spectacular, whatever they are.
