We are so fortunate, as between us we have 3 great girls, who are fun and smart and talented women, and good mom's.
Plus, the end result is some terrific funny smart talented and unique grandkids!
With Karen's Memorial service on Saturday, it was a special time for the daughter from California (Amy) to come to town, with the youngest granddaughter, Miracle, who we have not seen since she was a baby. Well.. it did not take Miracle long to become the welcoming committee for the incoming family visitors and cousins!
After the Memorial activities, we had so much fun, as the girls got caught up on life. And the grandkids hit it off like they have always known each other forever! Amy was starting to worry, as the other two girls were threatening to steal little Miracle, as she is such a fun little kid!
Beautiful children! Thinking of you, hon.

ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL FAMILY!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree, while it is not always the happiest of times Memorial Services do tend to bring families together, ties and friendships are renewed. The important thing is not loose it from there. Keep up with everyone - get together again soon. That what we did after my grandpa passed - I think we're on a roll now. Making the effort to stay together despite the distances between us all.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, what a beautiful family you have. And how wonderful that you all were able to get together like that. Karen seems to have brought you all closer. What a blessing she is, even in her passing.
