barbaro was so special. i cried and cried when they put him down. i am shocked that the derby jock has switched horses. i think that filly will win. she is gorgeous. what do you think?
That was terrible what happened to Barbaro, very sad when they had to put him down! I am heading out to work a horse than will be back in time to watch the race today!
Gosh, I still cry when I hear Barbaro's story, so sad! And seeing this reminds me of the tragedy at the Derby last year when Eight Belles, the runner up filly had to be euthanized on the track, it still makes me cry too! I hope all goes well at the Preakness this year, and the Belmont too!
i remember just being shattered when his leg went out during the race. i am glad they tried though. some race owners don't, and it drives me up the way. thanks for reminding us of this handsome creature.
I cried again watching this tribute. So sad. What a special horse...and all the people who tried so hard to save him and give him back his beautiful life.
WOW, I had not seen this video...Such a heart wrenching thing to have happened to him. I remember the day so well, and I too was glad they tried their best for him. The sadness in his eyes in some of those pictures makes me cry..
