I was out visiting some of you all recently..while the hubby was cooking up some Fish...

I visited "Di" over at "The Blue Ridge Gal ", what a fun blog!

Di had this delightful YouTube video her friend had sent her...

which will be me and the other half someday when we are old ( and learn to play the piano)...!

Fran & Marlo Cowan have been married for 62 years , he turned 90 in February. This was an impromptu performance at the Mayo Clinic.

So I am going to share it with you!

  6. Oh, that was lovely! They reminded me of a couple we met a few years ago while touring Iceland. He was 85, she 83. he had served in WWII and she had served here at home as a "Rosie" and waited for him to come back.

They had the BEST stories and you could tell they were still very much in love. Thanks for this post and for bringing back good memories.

  8. Hey... thanks for the shout out to my bloggity diggity blog. I love that everyone enjoys this video so much. It deserves to be posted on everyone's blog.

Also, very sorry to hear about Karen. Cancer just touches far too many lives and sometimes no matter how hard we women try or how hard we fight it cancer somehow still gets the best of us. She was such a lovely lady.
