Random Thought Tuesday..

This was a wreath from Ronald Reagan's funeral.. and was still at his Library in Simi Valley when we were there several years ago.

I have found that I really enjoy Presidents Library's, and I would love to go to as many as I could ....so back to my random thought, which is...

What would Ronald Reagan do if he was president today, now 2009... in the situation we are in now?

  1. As a non-American I am not sure how much weight my opinion carries, but from my perspective, Ronald Reagan was one of your countries great presidents! I think that he would have grabbed ahold of the financial crisis and, as quickly and efficiently as possible, put an end to it.

  2. Mmmmm... good question. I don't know. Probably like Audrey said, "He would have grabbed ahold of the financial crisis... put an end to it"

  6. Ronald Reagan would support the private sector, not institute government takeovers.

  7. I am an Obama fan however my comment on Ronald Reagan is, I do not think he would have let this crisis happen like the past administration did. I am discouraged sometimes that even though Obama is just coming on his 100 days in office he is underfire constanly. I do hope that everyone does give him the chance to turn around this ecomomey that has taken 8 years in the making. Surely he can not be expected to perform miricles... So sorry for using your comment space to vent, I just want the world to heal!!!

  8. I think Ronald Regan would not be trying to save us from ourselves... I fear the government is going to be everywhere very soon.

  9. Good question! I have no idea. I'm Canadian and was too young for most of his administration to pay attention to how he governed. I only truly became aware of him in his twilight years, when he was a little...fuzzy.

  10. I don't remember but about his politics. I can name every president in order, but not what they stood for. I'm just now coming into the placei n my life where politics are of interest to me.
