Cute N Cool

Are you ready for this? I sure am, and the sooner the better!

My daughter and the kids came to my garden while I was at work two years ago, and planted Lily's... to surprise me when they grew and bloomed, how cool was that!

This tree is a Mimosa Tree... we call it the Dr Seuss tree because of the flowers.. the tree will be covered with this funny pink flowers, aren't they fun!

We had some landscape work done a while back, and I told Daniel the landscape guy, I wanted this arched metal bench incorporated into my garden. I love how it turned out, and now the Climbing Hydrangea goes up one side, and the sweet smelling Honeysuckle cover 3/4 of it. Walking under this when the fragrant Honeysuckle is in bloom.. amazing!!

  1. I LOVE that your daughter and grandchildren planted beautiful plants without your knowing! What a wonderful, sweet gift!
Your yard looks lovely. Like you, I am re-energized by Spring. I cannot wait for the snow to be completely gone and the flowers all in blosson.
    Beautiful post Ms Jan!

  7. Beautiful! I LOVE the arched bench and I love the lilies (my favorite!). I had gorgeous Stargazers last year, but our Border Collie got into the bed and I think he dug them up!! I never did try to "find" them... I am still hoping to see them miraculously sprout =)
